Forever By Your Side is the 1983 album by legendary soul band The Manhattans.
The album will be remembered as a departure for the group however, thanks to “Crazy,” became The Manhattan’s biggest hit since “Shining Star.”
Embracing the post-disco dance sound now colloquially known as boogie,
“Crazy” is a brisk, summertime groover and a Manhattans staple.
Sam Dees-penned “Just The Lonely Talking Again,” was covered by Whitney Houston on her 1987 album Whitney, as “Love Is Gonna Find You” and “I’m Ready To Love You Again” became typical Manhattans style tracks which closes the album with a gorgeous heart-tugging ballad.
Now expanded with five bonus tracks, Forever By Your Side’s time has come again.
