Another Funkytowngrooves Release Authorized By Sony/BMG Re-Issue.

Includes 3 Bonus Tracks
The fourth Nona Hendryx solo album features Nona in a mix of moods, with the opener “Revolutionary Dance” starting things off with a bang. It’s music with a message which Nona has expertly done in her career. This album features many tracks in the dance mode with rock & R&B mixed in. “The Heat Pt. 1” and “The Heat Pt. 2” are both entirely different songs.
Labelle partner Sarah Dash sings backup vocals on Part 2, and future Living Colour bassist Doug Wimbush has an amazing bass hook he played on this track. Keith Richards guest stars playing guitar on Rock This House. This song earned Nona a Grammynomination for best female rock performance. Production comes from Bernard Edwards of Chic Fame.
It’s loud rock and roll, Nona style.
